Updates keep your site secure, but every so often one of them changes how something behaves. A layout shifts, a feature stops working, a page throws an error.
It's rare, but it happens, and it's one of the reasons a lot of people quietly avoid updating at all.
On a Statamic maintenance plan, that isn't your problem to solve. If an update breaks something, I fix it.
