Skratch Tech
The Challenge
Skratch Tech's original website was built in 2012. Over the years it had become difficult to update and no longer reflected the quality of work the company delivers. The design felt dated, the content was hard to manage, and the site wasn't doing the brand justice.
For a company that specialises in digital experiences, from LED video walls to interactive kiosks, the website needed to match that standard. Skratch Tech needed a site that felt current, showcased their work properly, and could be managed in-house without technical support.
About the Client
Skratch Tech is a digital signage and audio-visual specialist that provides end-to-end solutions for retail, corporate, and digital out-of-home (DOOH) environments. They handle everything from initial consultation and design through to installation, content management, and ongoing support.
Their work spans a wide range of sectors, delivering solutions that include LED displays, interactive screens, video walls, and full AV installations. It is a business built on visual impact, and the website needed to reflect that.
The Solution
I built the new Skratch Tech website on Statamic, giving the team a CMS they can manage confidently without needing a developer for day-to-day updates.
Video and animation play a big role across the site. Skratch Tech's work is inherently visual, so I made sure the design leaned into that. Background videos, animated transitions, and engaging motion help bring the brand to life and give visitors a feel for what the company actually delivers.
I set up five collections in Statamic: insights, pages, services, solutions, and case studies. Each one gives the team a clear, dedicated space to manage that type of content. Adding a new service page or publishing a case study is straightforward, with no risk of content ending up in the wrong place.
What I Did
Design
The design focused on letting Skratch Tech's work speak for itself. Large visuals, clean layouts, and purposeful use of video create a site that feels premium without being cluttered. Every page is built to showcase the kind of environments Skratch Tech creates for their clients.
Video and Animation
I integrated video and animation throughout the site to reflect Skratch Tech's core business. These aren't decorative touches. They demonstrate the type of digital experiences the company builds, giving potential clients an immediate sense of capability and quality.
CMS and Collections
Five collections were configured in Statamic, each with its own blueprint and tailored fields. The insights collection gives the team a space to publish articles and industry commentary. Services and solutions are kept separate so visitors can browse by what they need or by the environment they operate in. Case studies let Skratch Tech present completed projects with the detail they deserve.
The Result
Skratch Tech now have a website that matches the quality of their physical installations. The site is fast, visually engaging, and simple to manage. Their team can publish content, update service pages, and add case studies without waiting on a developer.
The jump from a 2012 build to a modern Statamic site has given them a platform they can grow with. New collections or pages can be added as the business evolves, and the content management experience is designed to be intuitive from the start.
